Becoming a Dive Master offers a unique combination of adventure, personal growth, and the opportunity to share the love of diving while making a positive impact on marine conservation. It is a rewarding and fulfilling journey that allows individuals to explore the underwater world, inspire others, and contribute to the protection of our oceans.

The PADI DIVE MASTER program is the first step toward becoming a dive professional and the prerequisite for becoming a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.

• During the course, you will work closely with your mentor instructor to expand your diving knowledge, refine your skills and gain valuable experience that will train you to become a model for other divers.
• You will experience the ocean lifestyle
• By the end of the course, you will be qualified to lead fun dives, assist PADI Instructors with teaching and conduct a reActivate program.
• You will be expected to be one of our dive center staff helping with routine management.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

• You will learn Divemaster leadership through both classroom instruction with a mentor and independent study with e-learning materials, completing two online exams and one written exam in class.
• You will complete water skills development in the pool and ocean such as swim tests, equipment exchange, etc. to earn your scores.
• You will practice the skills circuit to refine your 24 skills in the pool.
• You will have many hands-on activities such as giving dive briefings, simulating guiding a certified diver, making a map of the dive site and much more.
• You will assist instructors with the PADI Discover Scuba Diving course, Open Water course and continuing education.
• You will be expected to be one of our dive center staff helping with routine management.
• You will have unlimited dives in this program.
• A traditional snorkel test awaits you at the end of the course!

REQUIREMENTS

• Hold a PADI rescue diver certificate or equivalent
• Age 18 or above
• 40 logged dives
• Complete EFR course or equivalent course within 24 months
• Medical statement signed by a physician within 12 months
